AI4HOPE (AI based health, optimism, purpose and endurance in palliative)

Abstract: Dementia, caused by various brain disorders, is a growing issue in the EU due to the aging population. Digital health interventions can improve palliative care accessibility and effectiveness. However, studies often focus on specific interventions without considering cultural impacts. This project aims to improve understanding of dementia, identify holistic interventions, optimize clinical workflows, and provide scientific evidence for improved policies. By integrating digital interventions into palliative care for patients with poor dementia prognosis and evaluating their impact using Artificial Intelligence, the project aims to improve patient safety and quality of life.
